TASK 10: WEBQUEST

Complete the story

Finish the story about Jack and the mage completing the present web quest. The story begins this way:

Jack was at home feeding his cat when, suddenly, a mage appeared in front of him. “Where am I”, asked the mage. “In the Earth”, answered Jack. “Is this the Earth? Then how many people live in this planet? And how big is it?” asked the mage.

1. Now, visit http://www.space.com and http://www.worldometers.info to answer the questions of the mage.

Answers:

“So, is that so? Interesting…” said the mage. “But… who are you?” asked Jack to the mage. “I am Racknesi, a poor wizard who cannot find his home planet. “But where do you live?” asked Jack. “I live in a small planet by the biggest star in the milky way. If I could remember the name of that star I could return home with no problem” replied the mage. “Oh, we can solve it! Here we have Internet. One minute… Look, this is the name of your star.

2. Now, visit https://www.universetoday.com  to find the name of the star.

Answer:

“Oh, yes! That is the name of the star! Internet is amazing!” said the mage, and then he vanished after saying Jack: “I owe you one, Jack! Call me if you need anything!”

3. It is your turn to end the story. Imagine a problem Jack needs to solve with the help of the mage Racknesi. Depict it in some lines:

For that purpose, select the pictures your story will have. Visit different web pages to do so, like https://stock.adobe.com.

5. Complete your pictures with the written text of your story. Once you have finished, have your story read aloud using the Speech button.
